HopStep, a recruitment app for the aged care sector, embarked on a transformative journey with the vision to address the critical shortage of staff in the industry. Through a referral, they found Devika and launched into development of the MVP.
HopStep wanted a Tinder-style app for the sector: existing job boards already existed, but the industry has been slow to adopt new technology, and the founders wanted more automation connecting job seekers with employers than a listing site could offer. Devika built the matching engine and interface for the MVP on its Baseline framework, which gave the project three months of development out of the box.

Hopstep aimed to create a Tinder-type app for the health and aged care sector. While existing job posting platforms existed, they sought greater automation to streamline the connection between job seekers and employers in an industry traditionally slow to adopt new technologies.
Using advanced algorithms and a unique matching system, HopStep addresses the pressing healthcare workforce shortage by connecting healthcare employers with suitable and qualified candidates.
The user interface has been carefully designed to ensure no friction and intuitive design.
The entire application uses Baseline as the framework, which provided 3 months of Development out of the box.
