Devika’s logo and icon have recently been restyled and the new designs have officially launched across our platforms! With an understanding that change is synonymous with growth, this development has been in the making for 6 months to create a more accessible and relatable brand.
Building experiences with technology in mind
While the original 2019 logo represents values that are integral to who we are, restyling the design was essential to create an easily identifiable brand, one that has a strong association with Devika’s name and can be positioned alongside our partners’ logos.
While the 2020 logo and branding have changed our mission remains the same, to build experiences with technology in mind. This includes putting people first and recognising that technology is merely a tool that facilitates development.
From the Managing Director
To give you some insight into the decision that prompted this change Ken has shared his thoughts on restyling process:
“If you want to grow as a business you have to become comfortable with the discomfort that comes with change.
“You’ve got to know when to let go of your previous success to continue to succeed in the future.
“I spent hours developing the original Devika logo and while it will be hard to see it be phased out, it’s a necessary step to better communicate who Devika is and continue developing as a company.”
The Devika Logo Under a Microscope
Maintaining the integrity of the original logo was essential to the restyling process to communicate what we do and why. Eight easter eggs have been incorporated into the design to reflect the why behind us! You can read about them here.
The Devika logo is no stranger to change and has been reconfigured twice over its three years of life. We doubt this will be the last transformation the Devika logo undergoes. Throughout this process our focus is to create a legacy of who we are and what we stand for which is to enable others with technology in mind.
