GoTo is the all in one app that connects international travelers with businesses, activities and accommodation. Their mission is to help travelers make friends, find work, and explore the best of Australia.
GoTo’s co-founders recognized the need for a robust technology product to fulfill their mission. The team attempted internal development and working with an offshore digital agency, both of which were unsuccessful. Devika developed a mobile app tailored to the needs of travelers, available on both the Apple Store and Google Store. GoTo’s app serves as a digital guide, offering users a reliable source of information on job opportunities and exciting activities while exploring Australia.
In addition to the user-facing mobile app, Devika developed an admin portal designed for businesses looking to advertise job roles on GoTo. Businesses can create a free business profile and pay only when they find their ideal candidate. This approach eliminated concerns about advertising costs, enabling businesses to connect with thousands of job seekers effortlessly.
Devika leveraged various products including Baseline to accelerate the first 6 months of development, AWS infrastructure, and Stripe as the payment gateway. This combination of technology created a robust and scalable technology stack which has set GoTo up for success.
Devika delivered an MVP in 12 weeks, adhering to both the time and budget constraints, and enabling GoTo to finally launch their product to the market.
