Not-for-profit organisations rely on public donations to survive. In 2017, GiveEasy found evidence and reported that ‘lack of the necessary knowledge and skills is a barrier to innovation for not-for profit organisations in Australia. The need for continuous innovation is a necessary requirement to keep the public’s interest alive and as consequence donating to their cause. If these organisations had the necessary training this would be possible.’
With the current competitive open tendering environment, social innovation skills can aid a not-for-profit organisation to develop innovative and flexible approaches to allow groups to adapt to changing social environments. Active learning in the program is based on integration of knowledge and skill development providing long lasting tacit and overt thinking and behavioural skills.
We have also joined the 1% Pledge which is a movement dedicated to making the community a key stakeholder in every business. Pledge 1% encourages and challenges individuals and companies to pledge 1% of equity, product, and employee time for their communities.
By utilising our professional services, our Cares Program’s primary focus is to assist Not-for-profit organisations and address important social issues and topics regarding education, sustainability and family development, general wellness of people, and our future.
