I believe in a world where meaningful businesses can place the people, planet and pushing boundaries to the same priority as profit. My passion for this vision has indirectly lead me to use technology as a tool for the change I want to see in the world. I am adventurous and believe that life begins at the limit of our comfort zone. I am the founder of Devika where we specialize in using emerging technology to build meaningful experiences and solve problems across different industries. Devika is a bright, young company that partners with experts to experiment and discover new ways enterprises and society can benefit from emerging technology. Our experiences extend over virtual reality, augmented reality, artificial intelligence, mobile applications, websites and the internet of things to achieve the best results for every unique situation. Our mission is to add value to life’s around us and be part of a better future. Our values are to listen first, lead with integrity, have fun, be courageous, support one another, explore - be curious and pursue continuous learning.
After graduating from the University of Wollongong with a degree in IT (and a major in e-business), Ken ran his the family business, now know as Speedmaster. In his first three years Ken transformed the family-run car parts wholesaler into a Top 100 Retailer, eventually positioning Speedmaster as the leading automotive retailer in Australia (overtaking Supercheap Auto). It was during his time at Speedmaster that Ken visited Silicon Valley, and saw ordinary people building extraordinary businesses. Figuring that he would rather participate in the emergence of new technology rather than just watch, Ken decided to launch his own company. Devika’s success so far can largely be attributed to the experience Ken gained working at Speedmaster, as well as his belief that businesses should be meaningful. To Ken, emerging technology is much more than just the newest gadget - they are tools that can be used to affect positive change in the world.
